Myles Ross is a native Californian. He and his wife Cynthia have been married for over 33 years and have lived in Lake Elsinore for over ten years. They have four adult children, two sons-in-law, and six grandchildren. 

​

His educational background includes an associate’s degree in biblical studies, a bachelor’s in business administration with a concentration in accounting, a master’s in business administration, and course work in law.

​

His professional background includes accounting, the provision of business intermediary services, financial services, and real estate. He is a licensed minister, a real estate broker, and a certified tax preparer. He is a business broker and the owner of a small business advisory and accounting practice.

​

His public service includes appointments as Planning Commissioner, Nuisance Abatement Director, and Public Safety Commissioner for the City of Lake Elsinore. Currently he is on the Riverside County District Attorney’s Citizens Use of Force Advisory Committee.

As a volunteer he sits on the Board of Directors for the Lake Elsinore Valley Chamber of Commerce, served as a Chaplain and a Director for the Orange County Jail Ministry, and was a member of Cops and Clergy for the Lake Elsinore Police Department.

Myles joined the NAACP Branch 1034 in 2015. He serves on the Legal Redress Committee and was an advisor to the Branch prior to being elected Branch President. His goal for the Branch is to help grow the branch membership and financially in order to support the community in line with the mission of the NAACP.

Rosie Brady is a native southern belle from Mississippi. Rosie moved to Oceanside California in 1981 with her spouse who was in the Marine Corps. She has three adult children, three grandkids and one son-in-law and a daughter-in-law.

Her educational background is in electronics assembly and medical device management.

Rosie’s professional background includes over 30 years' experience as a Production Supervisor managing in world class manufacturing companies such as Medtronic, Boston Scientific and Guidant/Abbott Laboratories.

Rosie joined NAACP Branch 1034 in 2018 after being invited to a women's meeting. She observed the need for administrative support and decided early in her career that if there is a way to be a part of supporting a good cause or someone, she would jump right in and "Just Do It “as quoted by Nike.

Rosie is a volunteer and serves as the Secretary and Membership Coordinator for the branch.

Dr. Sylvester S. L. House, Jr is originally from Utah but was raised in Seattle, Washington. He found his way to California due to his military service since 1983 and retirement in 2010. He has two adults sons who reside in California.

Dr. House has been a member of the NAACP since 2012 and in 2022 joined NAACP Branch Chapter 1034, after receiving an invitation to monthly meeting.

​

Dr. House serves as the chapter Treasurer.
